Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 10, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies we use on our website, for what purposes, how long they are stored, and how you can manage your preferences. Processing related to cookies should be read together with our Privacy Policy and KVKK Notice.

What Is a Cookie?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device through your browser when you visit a website. They are used to make the site work properly, maintain security, remember your preferences and, where you consent, measure usage.

Similar Technologies

In addition to classic cookies, we use similar storage technologies such as your browser's localStorage. For example, your cookie-consent choice, theme and measurement-unit selections are stored in your browser's localStorage. These technologies are also covered by this policy.

Cookie Categories

We group cookies under the four categories you also see in the cookie banner. Essential cookies always run; the other three categories operate only if you consent.

  • Essential: Required for the core operation and security of the site. Storing your consent choice, remembering in-page scroll position, and security and bot protection fall under this category. It cannot be switched off and does not require consent; it is subject only to the duty of disclosure.
  • Functionality: Remembers preferences such as theme (light/dark), currency and measurement unit. The site works without them, but your preferences are not remembered.
  • Statistics: Analytics cookies that help us understand how visitors use the site (Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity). They run only with your explicit consent.
  • Marketing: Advertising and remarketing cookies. They are used only if we run an active advertising campaign and only with your explicit consent; there are currently no cookies running in this category.

Consent Mechanism (Consent Mode v2)

Our site uses Google Consent Mode v2. Until you make a choice in the cookie banner, all analytics and marketing signals (analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) are set to denied by default. This means statistics and marketing cookies are not run before you consent. Your choice, together with version and date information, is stored in your browser's localStorage under the "als-consent" key.

Third-Party Cookies and Services

To analyse website usage and ensure security, we use the following third-party services. These services may set their own cookies and process data under their own privacy policies:

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) - site traffic and usage analytics (Statistics). Privacy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
  • Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) - session analytics, heatmaps and session recordings (Statistics). Privacy: https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement
  • Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.) - security, content delivery and form bot protection (Turnstile); IP address and browser signals are processed (Essential). Privacy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/
  • Map tiles (OpenStreetMap, CARTO) - when listing maps load, your IP address is sent to these providers; these services are subject to their own policies.

Managing Your Preferences

Through the cookie banner shown on your first visit, you can accept or reject statistics and marketing cookies, or choose category by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. To change your consent at any time, you can reopen the cookie settings and update your preferences.

You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Blocking essential cookies may result in forms not being submitted or your preferences not being remembered.

Updates

This Cookie Policy may be updated in line with changes in the services we use or in legislation. The current version is always published on this page. For questions about cookies, you can reach us at info@alsemlak.com. Last updated: 10 June 2026.
